In her address, McKenzie highlighted several achievements from the past year, including backing the resolution to fund the Finding the Flint Headwaters Nature Preserve through the 2024 Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Program Grant, passing legislation to rename landmarks like the College Park Memorial Commons and the Gateway Pedestrian Bridge and Trail in honor of Congressman David Scott, and advocating to add new signage at the hazardous Virginia Avenue and Atlanta Street intersection.
“I was very excited to share information about what we’ve been able to accomplish in the city over the last year and our vision and objectives for this year with my constituents,” McKenzie said.
