Absentee Voting/ Voting by Mail:
Note: Georgia voters no longer need a reason to vote prior to Election Day. You may vote by mail or participate in Early or Advanced Voting.
A registered voter that plans to be out of the City and/or cannot vote at the designated polling location on the day of the election must file an application requesting an Absentee Ballot. Applications are available on College Park's website and in the City Clerk’s office. Applications may also be in the form of a personally written request received by mail, fax or in person.
Registered voters must file an application by mail or in person requesting an Absentee Ballot.
Ballots will be available at least 22 days prior to the General Election.
You can submit applications/requests up to 180 days prior to the election. Applications can be faxed to 404-730-8839.

How to Vote by Absentee Ballot
- Make sure you are a registered voter in the county that you wish to vote in. To verify voter registration please visit www.mvp.sos.ga.gov or by calling Fulton County Voter Registration (404) 730-7072.
- You may register online at https://registertovote.sos.ga.gov
- Separate applications are required for each election.
- Official Absentee Ballot Application forms can be picked up from the Fulton County Voter Registration and Elections; 130 Peachtree St., SW, Suite 2186, Atlanta, GA 30303. Applications are also available on the following websites: College Park,Fulton County and State.
- Military and Overseas citizens are now permitted to apply for absentee ballots by electronic transmission, email as attachment, in addition to the formerly allowed mail, fax and in-person methods.

The absentee ballot must be properly filled out and mailed to the above address to arrive on or before November 5, 2019. Ballotsreceived after Election Day will not be counted. November 3rd is the last day to mail out an Absentee Ballot.

The Elections Division of the Secretary of State's office organizes and oversees all election activity, including voter registration, municipal, state, county and federal elections. They are responsible for certification of election results as well as certifying the qualification of candidates and preparation of ballots and election forms and materials.
