CITY OF COLLEGE PARK BID OPENING EXTENSION TO RFP#REC-100110-BEBF The City of College Park Purchasing Department has decided to EXTEND the bid submission date for “Bill Evans Baseball Infield Renovation” from Friday, October 1, 2010 to Monday, 2:00pm, October 18, 2010. No proposal will be received after this date and time. All bids must be submitted to the City of College Park Purchasing Department only, 3667 Main Street, College Park, Georgia 30337 at which time the bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. Bids received after the above date and time, or in any other location other than the Purchasing Department will not be considered. The Bid was originally advertised in the Wednesday, September 15, 2010 edition of the South Fulton Neighbor. This bid is being extended from the previously advertised Bid Opening of Friday, October 1, 2010. | The successful bidder shall be required to furnish the Owner an acceptable PERFORMANCE BOND and PAYMENT BOND each in penal sums of one hundred percent (100%) of the original contract amount. A BID BOND of five percent (5%), insurance contracts and certificates of insurance shall be either executed by or countersigned by a licensed resident agent or insurance company, having his place of business in the State of Georgia, and in all ways complying with insurance laws of the State of Georgia. The Project is partially funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and is therefore subject to the Davis-Bacon Act and other Federal regulations. The bids shall meet all Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements. Small business and small disadvantaged businesses are solicited to participate. The City of College Park reserves the right to reject any or all bids based on past performance and to waive technicalities and informalities and re-advertise. All Minority, Woman and Small Businesses are strongly encouraged to apply. Only responsive proposals that are determined to meet the requirements and criteria set forth by the City of College Park will be considered.
