ARC/Fulton County to hold Transit Master Plan public meeting in College Park on June 21, 2017

The Atlanta Regional Commission, in partnership with Fulton County, is developing a Fulton County Transit Master Plan. The master plan will include a review of individual cities' community development strategies, transit services and the potential for expansion of those services throughout the county.

Two rounds of public meetings will be held to provide information and gather public input.  The first round of public meetings in June and July 2017 will focus on each cities' plans for the future, the potential role of transit within that vision, and public needs and desires related to transportation and transit. A second round of public meetings will be held in the fall of 2017 to review the community vision, summarize the transit market analysis and needs, and provide an overview of existing and potential transit services.

The City of College Park will host the first meeting on June 21, 2017 at 6:00PM inside the public safety center - 3737 College Street. This is an opportunity for the community to affirm their community vision and the potential role of transit in helping realize that vision.  For more information, please contact Cody Zanni with Kimley-Horn 404.900.7088, Zanni, Cody or email cody.zanni@kimley-horn.com.
