AMR in So. Fulton, City Investments, Fire Station Construction Progress

College Park continues to build relationships with the region's primary emergency medical transport service (AMR) and seeks to establish a comprehensive service agreement that will likely have a positive impact on South Fulton county.  College Park Fire Chief Wade Elmore and staff are reviewing various agreement angles, tasked with ensuring the most favorable response capabilities with little or no additional funding commitments required by the City of College Park.

There's good news on the financial sector for the City of College Park!  Budget season is nearly complete, and while much communication has been noted regarding the City's reserves, it should also be noted that College Park has experienced a promising performance by its financial portfolio.  A specific outline and report are scheduled to be offered during the June 19th meeting of the College Park Mayor and Council.

College Park continues to examine efficiency in accepting utility payments, billing, tax payments and the renewal of various licenses.  Occasionally, the City is presented with personal checks that are returned for insufficient funds.  The recovery process to date, has been handled by Envision Payment Solutions, but the City of College Park has sought in-house means to resolve directly with SunTrust Bank, the City's primary depository.

Construction of Fire Station #3 is progressing, with Fire Chief Wade Elmore providing continuous updates on project status.  The project management firm DCH, Inc. is geared up to provide future updates, including a scheduled briefing during the July 17th, 2017 meeting of the College Park Mayor and Council.
